Hang on, guar gum? Isn’t that a stabilizer? Why use it?
Yes and yes. There is less than 1% of guar gum, which is derived from guar beans. Its thickens the mixture and slows down the growth of ice crystals. That means thick and creamy ice cream for you!
All products are naturally shelf-stable (because it's all dry ingredients) up to 18 months! Look for the "Best if used by" date on the back of the pouch.
In your pantry! Yes, pantry, right next to the can of beans. They'll do best in low humidity environments at 75F or lower. Anything higher may cause the shelf life to shorten.
Use an airtight plastic container that can go in the freezer. There are a lot of great ice cream storage containers online. Our favorite brand is "Glide-a-Scoop" by Tovolo.
Pro tip: Place a piece of parchment paper on top of the ice cream to further prevent any ice crystals from forming. Peel off before scooping! Duh.
We can’t physically stop you from doing so, but we strongly advise against it. Each mix was developed with half & half in mind in order to achieve the right flavor and texture.

Store it as far back in the freezer as possible where it’s the coldest. Avoid the freezer door if possible. Make sure your freezer temp is at 0 or lower for optimal freezing.
Currently our packaging is not recyclable, but we are striving to become more eco-friendly as our business grows.
We ship every day of the week if we can. Any order placed after 3pm will ship the next business day! You will get an email notification as soon as your package is on the way.
Flat Rate Shipping is $7 on any orders under $50 for most states. Flat Rate shipping is $10 on any orders under $50 for AZ, CA, HI, ID, MT, NM, NV, OR, TX, UT, WA, WY.
If the shipping gods allow, your package will arrive between 3-5 business days. Tracking information will be sent to your email when it ships. And as always, email us at hello@maketruescoops and we will happily answer any of your questions.
Yes! Use your billing address for the shipping, but then leave us a note at checkout that you will email us the list of addresses.
There is a processing fee depending on how many shipments there are.

All sales are final. If your package arrives damaged, email us at hello@maketruescoops.com with pictures and we will send you a shipping label to send them back to us at no charge. Upon review of the product, we will reship you a new package at no charge.
